16 Ethiopian Aliens Rescued in Kayole-Nairobi after starving for more than 20 days

Police in Nairobi have launched a manhunt for culprits behind the 16 Ethiopian nationals aliens found suffering in a two-bedroom unfinished house at Matopeni area in Kayole, Nairobi County.

They were heard screaming for help as residents threw loaves of bread through the window of the house, two hundred meters behind Kayole Police station.

The foreigners say they came to Kenya two months ago and have been enclosed in the house while starving for the last 20 days.

Matopeni residents who got worried about the situation broke into the house to find out what was happening inside.

Remains of illegal bhang are among the things found in the pathetic structure that housed the foreigners.

The Ethiopian aliens who appeared weak physically and emotionally complained of mistreatment and torture by the culprit when they asked for food.

Njiru Sub county OCPD Paul Wambugu confirmed the incidence saying that the police are looking for the owners of the house who will then be charged with human trafficking.

Residents have now urged the government to investigate the rampant illegal businesses of human trafficking in the country terming it inhuman.
