Governor Wanga’s brother arrested by DCI detectives over alleged bribe of 4.6 million

Top  operatives from Directorate of criminal Investigations officers nabbed Governor Gladys Wanga’s brother Pastor Robert Nyasuna over alleged bribe of 4.6 million.

Robert Nyasuna who is a brother to Governor Gladys Wanga and also the political Advisor to the governor is alleged to have received the cash from a businessman of a Somali origin for a non existing tender.

According tho the source who seeked anonymity, the DCI officers from Nairobi arrived in Homabay as early as 7am to plot arrest.
The source further revealed that since they had already identified the suspect, he was later arrested at the Governors office within the corridor adjacent to the office of the chief officer for health.
 Additionally the suspect was taken to Homabay police station where he was interrogated in the presence of his victims.
It is alleged that the victims were paid the sum of money they were conned by the county officer who was later  released under unclear circumstances.
The DCI has since gone silence raising an alarm to the residents.
When contacted via whatsup calls and messages to get his side of the story,Robert Nyasuna,the suspect did not respond to the calls and messages and his phone was off air at the time of publication.
Homabay residents are now asking many questions as to why a man with no integrity is still allowed to work and run county affairs despite being  involved in corruption deal of bribery.
