Sirisia parliamentary aspirant Moses Nandalwe has said that he is the best option to take over from the outgoing Sirisia MP John Waluke.
MP Waluke risks being locked out because of his criminal case involving maize scandal and his co- accused Grace Wakhungu.
Speaking to the media, Nandalwe said that Sirisia has derailed in developments assuring that his leadership will tackle all problems in the constituency.
Nandalwe noted that if elected the area MP,he will prioritize Education, water and support youth groups within the constituency.
“With the little cash I have been able to initiate projects in Sirisia constituency, our youths can feel my presence,” he said.
Nandalwe said that dishing out handouts during campaigns and in funerals will not solve the severe situation of joblessness among youths in the region.
He added that he will use the opportunity to create employment opportunities to youths who graduate from Universities and middle level colleges.
“Dishing out handouts to the youths during campaigns won’t help, campaigns will end soon. These youths need something that will sustain them in future, please focus on the future as well,” Nandalwe said.
On Azimio la Umoja campaigns, Nandalwe said that ODM leader Raila Odinga will be in the Western region to woo residents to support his Presidential bid asking residents to avail in huge crowds and to understand his agenda.
“Baba will be in the Counties of Bungoma, Trans- Nzoia, Vihiga and Busia. Let’s come in huge numbers and get to listen to what our leaders will tell us,” he said.
Nandalwe added that he will lead Azimio la Umoja campaigns in Sirisia to ask residents to back Raila’s bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
If Waluke won’t be cleared to vie for the seat, Nandalwe will battle it out with Ford Kenya aspirant Kasembeli Nasiuma.
The Sirisia parliamentary race will be between ODM aspirant Moses Nandalwe and Kasembeli Nasiuma after DAP-K aspirant Malaba Keya shelved his bid to back Kasembeli.
Nandalwe argues that he has been contesting for many times asking residents to back his bid to succeed Waluke affirming that he will change the lives of Sirisia and take it to the next level.
