KISS 100 morning show host Felix Odiwor alias Heavy Jalang’o today officially announced his resignation to pursue leadership in the political world which comes at a time when youth have been urged to be up to task in taking leadership positions in the country.

“The curtain call falls on me today as I go out to try my hands in politics. This is a call that was so loud in me after being told that the time for young people to rise has come and if the youth waited any longer the time for their leadership will elapse considering that God has given much and much is expected in return,” Jalango said.

“My dream is to bring a difference on the perception of leadership in the society and clearing the minds of citizens that good people and good leaders still exist in Kenya,” he said.

“I am taking this opportunity to thank the entire crew from KISS 100. You guys always had my back in my line of duty especially when issues arose, thank you for believing in me, allowing me to interact with you and share amazing moments together,” he added.

The talented radio veteran presenter was sent to his political journey by a number of sweet words from KISS FM employees as his Boss Caroline Mutoko praised him for his integrity and hard work

“Jalango from the day you first walked into the studio, you showed your hunger for work. You learn fast, you don’t stop, you don’t want don’t procrastinate. As you embark on your first journey, I would like to wish you luck, you tend to set your heart at something and go for it. At Radio Africa, we are cheering you all the way, if we could all vote in Langata, we would all vote for you. And please don’t forget to buy me lunch,” said Caroline Mutoko

“You are one of the best people I have ever met. I have learnt so much from you. We have shared most of the best moments together, am wishing you everything best because that is exactly what you deserve, I will miss you so much,” Nikka said

“Ata naskia kulia but anyway, Lang’ata deserves the best. As you start your new journey, all the best manzee, Lang’ata tunaingia asubuhi na mapemaaa,” Charity said

“I wanna wish you nothing but the best, it’s been two years talk of vibes talk about hustling. Talk about grinding, we’ve been better at it and one thing I’ll miss about you is your determination, focus and discipline all day every day, 7 days a week 365 days in a year. You showed up, did your thing and went home and I wanna wish you all the best as you say good bye today. You are an amazing person and mehn go there and show them what a boy from Nyamwamwa boys can do Heavy J” Spensor said.

“We gonna miss you, but I wish you all the happiness, all the love all the success,” Charlie Karubi from Homeboys Radio.
