Self-proclaimed prophet Nabii Yohana (V), 82, from Nandolia village, Bukembe West Ward, Kanduyi Sub-county has been on the records of marrying 46 wives with more than 200 children.
Yohana who owns 5 homesteads in Lugari,Kimilili, Kitale and Kakamega narrates how he started his ministry of healing people in 1960.
“I started my ministry in 1960 and now have 62 years’ experience in this ministry of healing and praying to people, and was chosen by God to do this work, “Nabii said.
Nabii claims that he is on a mission to save mankind from corruption and bad Governance adding that he has his constitution that when the government embraces it, will save the country from all these calamities.
However, Nabii says that there is need for the Bible to be revised stating that it is outdated.
“My book has 93 books, 48 for the Old Testament, it took me 68 years to become an author,” Yohana explained.
Some of the books include Mfarisayo Wilson, Agnes, Mfarisayo Geoffrey, Benson (II), Peter Petro and Mfarisayo Peter among others.Nabii’s Bible only has verses unlike the Holy Bible which is divided into chapters..
“All my services are linked to the Bible. I am the only God’s man who will change the gospel of this world,” he said.
“Serving the Lord is something that I started a long time ago and I have never given up,” he said, adding that he has been in service for 62 years.
Nabii further said God gave him the ability to prophesy, pray for the sick and treat patients with herbal medicines.
He said he has prayed for millions of people from all over the world.
His day starts at 5:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM in the evening and people stream non stop, in a day he receives 70 people.
Nabii explained that when entering his house where he performs the healing one has to remove the shoes to show respect to his place of worship.
He does the healing free of charge but when people feel like appreciating, he doesn’t mind. Nabii added that he was schooled by God and not human beings.
He insists for the government to use his constitution and his commandments, saying that they are the ones that will guide the nation.
“I have 12 commandments different from the ones Moses was given and a constitution that should be adapted by the Kenyan Government to rescue the nation from calamities.” Nabii narrated.
Catherine Nalonja, his 10th wife, narrates how she met him in 2012 they are now married for more than 20 years.
“ I fully support my husband and I came here as a helper to help him in receiving guests, “ She said.
Beatrice Banda, the youngest wife who is 23 years, who has 2 years in marriage explained how she left college to be married by Nabii.
“Having been raised in Bulundo village, I was in Matulo Technical Institute, parsued Building and Construction, I decided to quit when Nabii promised to provide for me when I get married to him, so I decided to be his wife, “Beatrice said.
Having 46 wives, Yohana says that he has not stopped having more; he still has the energy to marry another wife, stating that he can provide for them not that he is rich but the blessings he gets from God.
