A family in North Nyakach that faced tragedy when their house burned down with their one-year-old baby can smile in relief after Vincent Obuya, MCA for Central Nyakach built them a new home.
Vincent Obuya, has consistently assisted Nyakach constituents to alleviate poverty in the sub-county.
Joyce Awuor, who lost her baby in the fire, expressed her gratitude, stating, “I spent weeks in the cold after the inferno until Vincent Obuya stepped in to build me a house.”
Having received no assistance since the incident, Joyce appreciates Obuya’s responsiveness to the community’s needs.
Moses Onyach, the victim’s brother, acknowledges the family’s struggles and expresses relief that the MCA has provided much-needed help.
The area chief of Rangul Location, Mr. George Ongayo, commends Obuya for aiding a family outside his ward, emphasizing the positive impact on the community.
Ongayo encourages other leaders to follow Vincent Obuya’s example in supporting those in need.
