The Deputy Inspector General of police Douglas Kanja has urged the public to give support inorder to enhance security within their areas.
While speaking in Kisumu during the official opening of Ragumo Police station in Kisumu East,he said that the public should be more vigilance when it comes to security matters and that will help in enhancing security within their areas of residence.
The Deputy Inspector General of police also promised to ensure that the station gets a police vehicle to help them do operations smoothly within their jurisdiction.
Ragumo Police station was constructed by the Kisumu East Cdf fund under the patronage of area Member of Parliament Shakeel Shabbir.
According to the mp,the cdf used a sum of 19 million to construct a ultra modern building and Police quarters.” We have used 19 million for constructing this Police station and it will serve the people well in reducing insecurity in Kisumu east”,Said Shakeel.
