The political landscape of Karachuonyo Constituency officially gained a major contender this weekend after former Homa Bay County Supply Chain Management Director, Samson Okumu, formally declared his bid for the parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.
After months of speculation and countless calls from his supporters to state his intentions, Mr. Okumu finally announced his candidature during a fundraiser held on Sunday at Miyuga Catholic Church in Wang’ Chieng’ ward.
