In 2022 after the general elections I predicted that Kenyans will be the first country in the Sub- Saharan region to experience Arab Springs or something similar to what hit the Northern African countries of Egypt, Tunisia then.
During an interview with the international media immediately after the elections zi could foresee what is happening today clearly in my mind.
The way the Kenya Kwanza of current president Ruto and the then ruling by the Supreme Court was questionable. In fact the Supreme court of Kenya owe Kenyan a big apology and more so on the decision they made to declare Ruto president without analyzing evidence produce by the opposition on the election malpractices.
From the word go Kenya Kwanza government started on z faulty note.
Appointments to key government positions were skewed only favoring two ethnic communities of president Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
The two forgot that Kenya is a country comprising of nearly fifty million with over fifty ethnic communities bigger than any individual
Similarly the situation was not different when it came to other key appointments such as parastatals Chief Executive Officers, Principal Secretaries, and Ambassadors.
Corruption in employment, tender awarding systems and so on became the order of the day among cabinet Secretaries.
For many observers Presiden Ruto was trying to emulate the government of the late President Daniel Arap Moi where one man’s  word became law and road declarations became not only symbol of power but also government policies for implementation.
Ruto has become a victim of his own circumstances in the sense he overlooked everybody else and discarded anybody else opinion or advise. A good leader listens, reflects and surround himself with mature people of high integrity and wisdom and not sycophants, dealers and wheelers whose only motivation is money making, gossip and self-seeking.
Ruto reneged on his own promises during the campaigns creating a big disappointment to people who supported and trusted him.
Despite that after assuming the office as the fifth Head of state of Kenya Ruto has continued to lie by making promises to the country which he cannot keep.
