Nyanza Residents have been urged to support the Kenya Kwanza government headed by President William Samoei Ruto for the benefit of development in Nyanza.
Speaking during a church service in Nyakach Constituency at St.Christina Kogola Catholic Church, the Cabinet Secretary for ICT and Digital Economy Mr.Eliud Owalo has urged the residents to support the government because since the Kenya Kwanza government was formed, the people from Nyanza have received tremendous development from the government.
” President William Ruto has shown a good gesture to the people of Nyanza by bringing developments into the region something that was not seen before, we now have sugar factories debts settled by the government and this will enrich sugarcane farmers within the region” ” said Owalo.
He said that sugar factories like Sony Sugar, Nzoia Sugar, Muhoroni Sugar and Chemelil Sugar company’s debts had been settled after a long struggle by the companies.
” Farmers will now see the benefit of their hard in the farms because the payment will now be done promptly to them”, Said Cs Owalo.
He also added that the government is now on a mission to look for private investors who will run the companies to help the farmers earn more from the factories.
