All set to receive ‘Baba’ In Bungoma County, says Nandalwe

Sirisia Parliamentary aspirant Moses Nandalwe has said that all plans have been set in place to welcome Azimio la Umoja Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga for a two-day tour in Bungoma County to hunt for votes

Addressing the media on Thursday, Nandalwe urged residents to avail themselves in large numbers to receive Hon. Raila and rally with him.

“The Azimio La Umoja team is very friendly. Just come and listen to what Baba will pledge to us during his tour in Bungoma,” he said.

Raila is expected in Bungoma County on Saturday and Sunday.

“Raila will traverse the entire Bungoma County with an aim of meeting residents and assuring them of his deal with other parties in the Azimio la Umoja coalition,” he said, adding that the security and the stages where Raila will make stop overs have been planned.

He assured that all the Azimio la Umoja leaders from the Western region will accompany Raila during the tour in the Western region.

“Baba assigned leaders from every region in this republic to lead the Azimio campaigns, here Western part we have MP Wafula Wamunyinyi, Defense CS Eugene Wamalwa and Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya,” he said.

Nandalwe urged Bungoma residents to come out boldly and tell Raila what they want to do for them if he wins the August polls.

“In this region we have many ailing industries that used to give our people employment opportunities and that is what we expect Baba to talk about among other things,” he said.

Nandalwe said that he has been an ally to ODM leader Raila Odinga asking Sirisia residents to back his bid.

He assured that security has also been beefed up.
