Equity Group and Zepz, the driving force behind global remittance brands WorldRemit and Sendwave, have announced the renewal and expansion of their strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility and affordability of international money transfer services for Equity’s customers across Kenya and its subsidiaries in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, and soon the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Since their initial partnership in 2018, Zepz has empowered Equity Bank Kenya to facilitate secure and efficient digital money transfers, benefiting millions of customers globally through a robust network of partners within the Equity ecosystem.
Under the renewed agreement, both organizations will leverage state-of-the-art APIs and integration solutions to optimize the customer experience. The partnership targets to handle over one million transactions per month, enabling seamless fund transfers directly into mobile wallets and Equity bank accounts across the region.

Zepz’s digital platform ensures secure and swift fund transfers, complemented by WorldRemit and Sendwave’s extensive global network. Customers can choose to receive funds directly into their Equity Bank mobile wallets or bank accounts, benefiting from competitive foreign exchange rates and enhanced convenience.
