Kilifi Gubernatorial aspirant George Kithi has officially announced his running mate on Madaraka day celebrations held at Kilifi Water grounds on Wednesday.
Kithi named Mr.Athman Seif to deputize him in defending his gubernatorial aspiration in the county through Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) party in the forthcoming polls.
He termed Mr. Seif appropriate for the position while praising his ability to bring together the Christian and Islamic communities in the region.
“I am therefore glad to present to you my running mate, with whom I am certain we will bring home the dreams of the people of Kilifi”, Kithi said.
Seif has served as a leader in the Islamic religion as well as the blue economy in the region.
This happened amidst Madaraka day celebrations led by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi.
The event was attended by residents from different sub-counties,county officials, and political leaders especially from PAA.
