Hou have No Idea on How to run this Country; Odinga to Kenya Kwanza Regime

The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has blamed the Kenya Kwanza government for failing to fulfill the promises it gave to Kenyans during the campaigns.

While in Busia county during the launching of the ODM membership registration, Mr Odinga said that President William Ruto is borrowing to clear debts which is a bad move for the country.

“These people in power have no idea how to run this country. In their campaigns they gave false promises to Kenyans now they are unable to fulfill them. What they are doing is borrowing to run this country,” he noted

While in the company of the party secretary general Mr Edwin Sifuna, the National deputy party leader, the former Kakamega governor Mr Wycliffe Oparanya, and the party’s chairperson John Mbadi, Raila said the Kenya Kwanza government is still promising Kenyans projects including industrial parks, and water projects, roads among other projects yet implementation is a problem.

“They are still giving false hope to Kenyans by promising them major projects such as industrial parks, water projects, and roads yet this is a lie.”

The ODM leader advised President William Ruto to seek his advice and those who were in the late president Mwai Kibaki to show him how the country is managed.

“Let him look for us who were in late president Kibaki’s government and we will show him how to run the country,” he said

According to him, Azimio had good plans for this country, and with all the promises they gave during the campaigns they knew where to source the money for this country, adding that when he was the prime minister he knew where to look for the resources to run the country’s economy.

“In our promises during the campaign as Azimio, we knew where we would source the money to sustain them. I was once the prime minister of this country. I know how to run the economy of this country,” said Mr Odinga.

Mr Raila insisted that the Azimio coalition still has plans to revive the economy of Kenya adding that soon the Kenya Kwanza government will be bankrupt.

“As Azimio coalition we have plans to run this country and we will manage it properly after the Kenya kwanza government runs bankrupt,” he said.
