Joyous Moi Girls Sindo students breaks into dances and celebration following the reception of good results by the school in the just released 2023 KCSE results.
Returning back to school after a long festive-holiday, learners could not hold their joy as their school emerged among the most improved schools in Homabay County.
Found in Sindo, Suba South Sub County in Homabay County, Moi Suba Girls-Sindo is among the extra county schools which has recorded a positive deviation of 0.79, rising from a mean of 7.0 to 7.79.
Speaking to KTMN News in her office, Florence Omondi who is the school’s chief principal outlined that out of 215 candidates,198 managed to get a direct entry to university with 16 others scoring a mean of C plain.
only one candidate scored a mean grade of C minus.
she attributed this good performance to High discipline amongst the students and hard work of the teachers.
“In this 2024 academic year, we are aiming for a higher mean score. I believe with hard work and dedication of our teachers and students, we shall achieve this goal, “said the principal.
She added that they have registered a total of 366 candidates which a higher number compared to the previous academic year.
