Sombre mood has engulfed the family of nominated MP David OLe Sankok after their 15 year old son shot himself at their home in Ewaso Nyiro Narok .
Police confirmed that the Memusi Sankok a form 3 student at Kericho High School,shot himself using his father’s firearm who was not present during the incident.
The first born son ,who died from the gunshot wounds ,was supposed to return to school last week but did not with reports saying he was to return to school tomorrow accompanied by his father,after failing to return last week when schools opened.
It is believed the Memusi accessed his father safe in his bedroom and used his Glock pistol to shoot himself with police authorities adding that in depth investigation will be carried out.
It’s alleged that Memusi and his father had differences over his academic performance with the rumors yet to be verified.
The Mp who was not at home during the incident was attending political errands just a few kilometers from his Ewaso Nyiro home.
