Liberal Democratic Party ( LDP) has criticized the Orange Democratic Movement party ( ODM) of the Azimio One Kenya Coalition for not only betraying its members but also the people of Kenya.
Agreeing to be part of a as collapsing Kenya Kwanza government is a selfish move aimed at championing personal interests of certain greedy politicians in ODM if not rewarding certain cronies.
According to Mr.Denise Kodhe the Secretary General of LDP, it seems that Members of Parliament are not listening to complains raised by Kenyans especially Genzs.It appears that the parliamentarians have not learnt a lesson when protestors invaded the National Assembly recently.
“It is painful to watch Hon.Peter Kaluma the Member of Parliament fo Homabay chest thumping in parliament that this is an opportunity for Luos to become Cabinet Secretary.Shame on him.Who told him that Luos are dying to be in a government that is killing it’s own children using the police. Luos as a community are very proud and respectable people who study hard to achieve what they want to become but not to be rewarded with positions based on loyalty and cronism” he said.
“Peter Kaluma must apologize to the Luo community for belittling them.Infact the likes of Kaluma are some of the elected members of parliament that has made the National Assembly unpooular and to loose its intergrity.”
LDP hope’s that the people of Homabay and many other constituencies are not only observing contributions of their representatives in the National Assembly and in the Senate but also watching and taking into account their conducts and behaviours.
LDP as a party which believes in genuine and true national leadership and integrity is appealing to sober minded members of parliament to look at things critically during the vetting process and to select credible people with intergrity and good qualities of leadership as articulated in Chapter Six of the constitution.
Kenya will not change if the government snd greedy short sighted parliamentarians like Kaluma continues to recycle failures and individuals painted with bad corruption cases simply because they are loyalists to certain individuals or political tribal warlords.
According to LDP, the people of Kenya are tired of political brockering and focuses more on service delivery as demanded by Genzs and other protesting citizens.
