Rabai MP William Kamoti is Dead

Rabai Constituency Member of Parliament Hon. William Kamoti has died in a road accident that occured on Sunday night at Komaza, stage Ya Maziwa stage along Mombasa – Malindi highway at around 9:30 PM.

Kilifi North OCPD Jonathan Koech has confirmed his death to journalists over a phone call.

Koech said more details about his death will be communicated.

The deceased body has been taken to Kilifi County mortuary.

Kamoti has served as the Rabai MP for three terms and recently submitted his nomination certificates to the IEBC to vie for the parliamentary seat in the fourth coming polls through the ODM ticket.

Earlier on, Stanley Saburi who was also vying for the same position through the ODM ticket had stepped down for late Kamoti after reaching a consensus with the party.
