St Peter’s Abwao, the Nyanza’s current academic power house has elected a rastafarian as the students head.
A photo posted on social media by one of the teachers that has since gone viral shows the school principal Mr Jacton Ogolla congratulating the student popular by the name Ras
“The Rastafari is equally the best performer in maths and sciences,” the teacher posted.
“Does that change your perception (about Rastafarians) abit?,” he posited.
The school posed a mean of 9.7 in the 2023 KCSE beating renown academic giants in Nyanza.
