Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko reshufles executive in renewed efforts to boost service delivery

Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko has reshuffled executive just a year after he was sworn into office as the county’s second boss.

Dr Ayacko while unveilling the changes noted that his administration was keen on bolstering service delivery to the residents and maintained that the executive swap was “purely in good faith and with no malice.”

“My administration is keen on improving servitude to the electorate and the reshuffle will ensure that this is achieved. i take this opportunity to encourage all the members of my executive to ensure service to the people is achieved.”

The following are the Chief Executive Commitee Members swapped :

  • Mrs Rahab Robi Chacha: Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Change and Disaster Management. Moved to Education, Gender Inclusivity, Social Services, Youth Services And Youth
  • Mrs Mercy Okwanyo: Trade, Tourism, Industry, Market and Cooperatives Development Moved to Public Service Management, Monitoring and Evauation and Performance Contracting
  • Mrs Betty Samburu Mogesi: Education, Gender Inclusivity, Social Services, Youth Services And Youth moved to Trade, Tourism, Industry, Market and Cooperatives Development
  • Mr Caleb Opondi: Public Service Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Performance Contracting moved to Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Change and Disaster Management

Some of the chief officers who were swapped includes:

  • Mr Charles Mwikwabe Chacha: Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Change and Disaster Management moved to Water and Energy
  • Mr Philip Dalmas Odero: Public Works and Infrastructure Development moved to Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Change and Disaster Management
  • Mr Phidale Majiwa: Water and Energy to Monitoring and Evaluation and Performance Contracting
  • Mrs Roselyne Atieno Otieno: Medical Services moved to Roads and Transport
  • Mr Samuel Doe Atula: Roads and Transport moved to Medical Services
  • Mr Nelson Aluoch Wasonga: Monitoring and Evaluation and Performance Contracting moved to ICT, E-Governance and Innovation
  • Mr Victor Omondi Ouya: ICT, E-Governance and Innovation moved to Trade, Industry and Tourism

The following chief officers were hired on an acting capacity after the Public Service Board failed to ratify the filling of their positions

  • Mr Victor Omondi Ouya: Cooperative Development and Marketing
  • Prof. Rose Aoko Ogwang’: Gender Inclusivity, Culture and Social Services
  • Mrs Roselyne Atieno : Public Works and Infrastructure
