Kisumu’s Real Estate Revolution: Civilscope Engineering Ltd Paves the Way

Kisumu City’s real estate market is experiencing a remarkable transformation as investors flock to capitalize on new opportunities.

In the past, the high costs imposed by a few dominant construction companies deterred many from venturing into real estate development within the city and its outskirts.

However, the landscape is rapidly changing with the emergence of numerous construction companies and the influx of civil engineering graduates from various universities.

One of the key players in this transformation is Civilscope Engineering Ltd, led by Engineer Joab Liech.

The company has revolutionized real estate development in Kisumu, making it more accessible and affordable.

This shift has not only attracted individual investors but also organizations with limited funds, such as churches.

A prime example of Civilscope Engineering’s impact is the recently launched hostel project by the Voice of Salvation and Healing Church.

The state-of-the-art facility, costing KES 113 million, stands as a testament to affordable quality in construction.

This is notably lower compared to similar projects within the city, highlighting Civilscope’s commitment to fair pricing.

“We are not charging exorbitantly to allow the growth of low-income investors like churches and individuals who are venturing into real estate,” said Engineer Liech during the launch.

His sentiment was echoed by Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr. Mathews Owili, who praised the project for its value for money.

“In other places, KES 113 million wouldn’t get you such a wonderful building,” remarked Dr. Owili.

The Deputy Governor further emphasized that Kisumu County’s development is being fueled by the availability of land and the county government’s waiver of land rates, encouraging real estate expansion.

This supportive environment, coupled with affordable construction services, is driving the city’s rapid growth.

Archbishop Winnie Owiti of the Voice of Salvation and Healing Church International expressed her gratitude to Civilscope Engineering and the church community for their efforts in realizing the hostel project.

She assured that the hostels would be offered at affordable prices for students, addressing a critical need for student housing in the area.

Kisumu’s real estate market is poised for continued growth, thanks to companies like Civilscope Engineering Ltd, which are making quality construction accessible to all.

This development marks a new era for the city, promising a vibrant future for investors and residents alike.
